Report to judge with dog on tracking line. Inform the judge if the dog will pick up or point out articles. No force or pressure to be used prior to the start of the track: this means do not down the dog near the starting flag!

- excessive circling on the corners
- continued praise
- faulty picking up and pointing out of the articles
- dropping articles

- repeated starts
- pronounced quartering
- tracking with a consistently high nose
- impetuous tracking
- urinating or defecating
- hunting for mice

- each faulty article indication

- each article not indicated by the dog.
- each article indicated only through strong handler help
